This Bowl Is No Crock!
Sotheby's Asia deputy chairman Nicolas Chow poses with the 900-year-old ceramic "Ruyao Washer" during an auction in Hong Kong on April 4, 2012. The flower-shaped bowl fetched $26.65 million, setting a new record for the so-called Song ceramic, which was fired at high temperature in a special kiln by craftsmen personally selected by the Emperor.
