Martha Raddatz, a 20-year veteran of ABC News, covers the big beltway issues--defense, politics, and foreign affairs. Her biggest assignment last year, however, was moderating the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. Unlike other moderators of past debates, Raddatz nailed it. She seemed to care less about how she was viewed and more about asking tough questions that Americans were asking at home.
