Michael Fassbender – Jonah Hex
Though Fassbender has spent the past half-decade or so giving a seemingly endless series of electrifying performances, he certainly couldn’t save this Action/Fantasy/Western/Comic-book movie. Though he does bring a certain amount of unhinged Irish charm to the villainous role, he still can’t overcome a terrible script, listless direction and Megan Fox.
For a much better time, if you are in the mood for an entertaining remake of “Aliens” in which the Marines are replaced by a Roman legion, the aliens are replaced by 2nd Century Scots, and Sgt. Apone is replaced by McNulty...”Centurions” is the film you are looking for.
