Schleifer’s pay shot up 21 percent this year, making him the highest paid CEO in the pharmaceutical industry. Regeneron’s vision-loss drug Eylea brought in $1.41 billion in the U.S. for 2013, a year-over-year increase of 70 percent, according to FiercePharma.
