One Hour Photo (2002)
Though Robin Williams did make many high-quality and beloved films, many of the films he made in the 90s were less well received. Following criticism that he had become too saccharine, the comedian took on two profoundly dark performances in the same year. Though Christopher Nolan’s "Insomnia" is probably the better film, "One Hour Photo" is the better performance, with Williams aging himself up to become the kindly old man who’s just a little too obsessed with a seemingly idyllic local family.
