While you can certainly fault Hollywood for yet another remake, there are reasons to think this updated and multi-cultural version of the beloved musical might be a new family classic for the ages. With Jay-Z and Will Smith as producers, Jamie Foxx in a lead role and the adorable Quvenzhané Wallis as the title orphan, there’s no shortage of talent on hand.
