Into The Woods (Dec 25)
Based on the ever-popular Stephen Sondheim musical (itself based on the fairy tales of The Brothers Grimm) the play finally finds its way to the screen after years of wrangling and false starts. Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp and Anna Kendrick bring the star power, but it remains to be seen if the movie can reach a broader audience than just Glee fans. Tellingly, the current trailer features no singing.
