In a fine bit of meta-casting, the much-missed Michael Keaton returns to the screen as a washed up actor forever associated with his former role as a superhero. Director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu has been a bit lost at sea since his critical success with Babel, but advance word on this is glowing, with special praise heaped on his astonishing visual style. This could be one to remember.
