A Slice of the Queen’s Wedding Cake: $900
A piece of Queen Elizabeth’s 1947 wedding fruit cake, enclosed in its original box, sold for nearly $1,000 in 2013, at that time 65 years after she married Philip Mountbatten. This is cheap compared to a slice of William and Kate’s 2011 wedding cake, which sold for $7,500 in December 2014.
