The Beatles icon had the porcelain toilet removed from his England home where he lived from 1969 to 1971 and stored in a builder’s shed for 40 years; it was found after his death. The item, auctioned in 2010 as part of the Beatles festival in Liverpool, was “the most unusual item” of the auction, the organizer told Reuters.
