This ABC drama is one of the big winners in the new television season, with its 30-second ad rate jumping 73 percent from last year. It’s the first time the show has cracked the top 10 in Advertising Week’s survey.
The series stars Viola Davis as a law professor who, while working with a group of students, becomes involved in a murder plot. Davis this year became the first African-American woman to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
