The National Endowment for the Arts supports new artists -- some controversial -- in a variety of artistic disciplines. But giving even a small grant like $25,000 to support a museum honoring America's Oscar-winning motion pictures is inappropriate. The Academy Awards show is heavily sponsored and makes a fortune.
