Martin Scorsese
The IRS dropped a Valentine’s Day bombshell on the producer of The Wolf of Wall Street in the form of a $2.85 million tax lien in 2011. A spokesperson for Scorsese said the lien was a mistake, but this isn’t the Oscar-winners first run-in with the taxman. The IRS handed Scorsese three liens over a six-month period in 2002-03 totaling almost $1.9 million.
