Ban the Booze: Gulf Shores, Alabama
After several years as a destination for hard-partying spring breakers, Gulf Shores City Council decided last year to ban alcohol during spring break. This year, the city is bringing the ban back on beaches and within city limits from March 4-April 16. That means that crowds will be thinner and calmer, making it a good destination for those whose primary intention is to rest and relax.
