CEOs Behaving Badly: 7 Who Should Have Known Better

Steve Ballmer, Microsoft

In 2005, when Microsoft vice-president Kai Fu Lee was planning to leave for Google, he may have expected a counteroffer or some incentives to stay on in Redmond. What he got instead was an expletive-laden outburst from CEO Steve Ballmer. At one point during the meeting, Ballmer even picked up a chair and threw it across the room, hitting a table in his office, according to court documents. This was followed by a rant about then Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt. "I'm going to f***ing bury that guy, I have done it before, and I will do it again. I'm going to f***ing kill Google." Not convinced? Watch him dance and scream hysterically at this Microsoft presentation.
