CEOs Behaving Badly: 7 Who Should Have Known Better

Steve Jobs, Apple

In the summer of 2008, Steve Jobs summoned the team behind the much maligned MobileMe email system into the Town Hall auditorium on the Apple campus usually reserved for high-profile product launches. Jobs walked on stage and asked the group, "Can anyone tell me what MobileMe is supposed to do?" When someone gave him a half-way decent answer, his response was a brutal, "So why the f**k doesn't it do that?" For the next 30 minutes Jobs verbally abused and berated the sheepish group of developers, “You've tarnished Apple's reputation," he told them. "You should hate each other for having let each other down." He then fired the head of the group.
