Video games have always been about putting yourself in someone else’s shoes, whether this was as the commander of a spaceship, a knight in shining armor, or an Italian plumber. So what could make more sense than to present a video game to you in “First Person”? In prior games you were always looking at your character as he moved through his world. Wolfenstein showed you the game through the eyes of your character and created one of the most important of video game genres in the process.
