Charity to pay death benefits to fallen soldiers’ families
The Maryland-based Fisher House Foundation, a charity that operates free housing for veterans, announced that it will step in to pay death benefits to families of deceased soldiers, in response to outrage over the payments being ceased during the shutdown.
