Michael Ovitz resigned as president of Disney after just 16 rocky months on the job, taking $130 million with him. The amount was agreed upon before he took the job, and was supposed to be protection against him being fired without cause, which is exactly what happened. Like Nardelli, Ovitz also reportedly didn't get along with colleagues, nor was he comfortable not being completely in charge.
