Rosewater (November 7)
As hardcore Daily Show fans all know, Jon Stewart took a break from his hosting duties last summer to take a spin behind the director’s chair. There is understandable curiosity to see the finished product. His thriller tells the true life story of Western journalist Maziar Bahari (based on his book) and his imprisonment by the Iranian government as a spy. Early word is that the film is uneven but ultimately rewarding.
