At this point, it’s almost impossible to classify Bill Murray. He’s not exactly an actor or comedian anymore. If anything, his life is a sort of free-range performance art that occasionally appears in movies, and we are all the richer for it. The friendship between a lonely boy and a cantankerous middle-aged man is hardly new material for Murray, but when he does it with such aplomb, it’s hard to deny his charms.
