Abed’s Uncontrollable Christmas (S2, E11 – Dec. 9, 2010)
If "Mixology" was the show at its least gimmicky, this episode goes for broke in the other direction. The show often played with the question of Abed’s mental stability ... and sometimes went too far. When Abed goes into a Christmas-inspired catatonic state, the entire cast becomes stop motion animated in the style of the old Rankin/Bass holiday specials. The show has done some great Christmas (and Halloween) episodes, but this is the best of the lot for its laughs, it’s look and its heart.
