12) Pulp Fiction – 1994
Gross: $10,734320
A most peculiar gangster movie to be sure. The gang is LA-based and multi-ethnic and the closest you can come to a plot summary is “a double-crossing boxer tries to escape the mob” doesn’t really get the point across. Lost in the shuffle of time was Tarantino’s greatest innovation, the knowledge that sometimes even gangsters talked about some mundane crap like cheeseburgers, drug laws in Amsterdam and the etiquette of giving a married woman a foot massage.
