Susan B Anthony
Social reformer Anthony could be seen on silver dollars minted from 1979 to 1981, and in 1999. Widely known for her support of women’s suffrage, Anthony was one of the core advocates of giving women the right to vote, which was enacted under the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1920.
