Dying to Collect More Social Security
The Social Security Administration might be paying benefits to 6.5 million people 112 years old or older, a demographic which doesn't exists except on TV. SSA's failure to maintain accurate death records could result in billions in fraud. Equally troubling, perhaps, is the possibility that those SSA accounts are being used to legitimize illegal immigrants.
